Ozonolysis of vinyl ether 1 in the presence of unsaturated hydroperoxides 3 gave the corresponding unsaturated hydroperoxy peracetals 4, which in turn reacted with ozone in acetic acid to give the novel hydroperoxy-substituted cyclic peroxides containing two peroxide groups in the ring.
