    The present invention provides a multivalent compound for targeted molecular imaging and/or targeted drug delivery, wherein two components or targeting molecules each interacts with one or more biomarkers on a cell. The present invention further provides a multifunctional chelator to combine the targeting molecules. The present invention also provides an in vitro high-throughput screening assay to determine the length of the spacer molecules. The present invention also relates to compounds/probes, kits and methods for use in targeted molecular imaging and/or targeted drug delivery.

    Compositions comprising (i) thermoplastic polyester of aliphatic diol and dicarboxylic acid, at least 95 mole percent of said acid being terephthalic acid, (ii) inert particulate nucleating agent (iii) plasticizer and/or oligomeric polyester and (iv) segmented polyester-polyether block copolymer are disclosed as useful moulding compounds. The preferred polyesters include poly (ethylene terephthalate) and the crystallization rate of the polyester component is promoted by components (iii) and or (iv) sothatthe compositions can be moulded to form crystalline products at low temperatures. Moulding processes of the invention are carried out at less than 100°C mould temperature.

    A chain extending agent for reaction injection molding (RIM) comprising a normally liquid blend of butanediol and a toluene diamine mono-substituted with an electron withdrawing group and having the formula wherein X is vicinal to an amino radical and is selected from the group of halogen, CN, N02, acyl, carboxylate and isomeric mixtures thereof, and wherein the butanediol and diamine are combined in a critical mole ratio of from 4:1 to about 19:1. The above blend is particularly useful in the preparation of large moldings of polyurethane-polyurea elastomer by the RIM or RRIM (reinforced reaction injection molding) process wherein instant preformed blend is added to a mixture of polyol reactant and catalyst before polymerization in the mold with isocyanate to produce a urethane/ urea polymer product of improved properties. Accordingly, the invention also concerns an enhanced RIM or RRIM process and improved product by the use of a mixture of the present chain extender blend and polyol reactant maintain- able in the liquid state at ambient temperature.

    Polyurethane elastomer compositions, having a compression set less than or equal to about 40% are disclosed. These polyurethane elastomer compositions comprise the reaction product of: (a) A polyurethane prepolymer having terminally reactive isocyanate groups and formed as a reaction product of polymeric diol with a stoichiometric excess of p-tetramethylxylene diisocyanate (p-TMXDI); with (b) A curatively effective amount of a curative selected from the group consisting of: diethyltoluenediamine (DETDA), 2,4,-bis(p-aminobenzyl)-aniline (BABA), and mixtures thereof; and (c) Optionally, from about 0.01% to about 2% by weight of catalyst, based on the weight of curative. These polyurethane elastomers are used in molded articles which are to be used under load as in machine rolls and wheels.
