A variety of benzylideneoxazoles, -thiazoles, and -imidazoles derived from 2,6-di-tert-butylphenol were prepared and evaluated as dual inhibitors of 5-lipoxygenase and cyclooxygenase in rat basophilic leukemia (RBL-1) cells.
