1,4-Diphenyl-1,3-butadiyne readily displaces PMe3 from bis(N,N-diisopropyl-1-amino-1-boratabenzene)bis(trimethylphosphine)zirconium(II) to afford a 1:1 adduct which contains a 2,5-diphenyl-1-zirconacyclopenta-2,3,4-triene unit.
