  Friendly competition: Competitive α‐glucosidase inhibitors are generally sugar mimics that are costly and tedious to obtain. We have developed a novel competitive class of α‐glucosidase inhibitors, stilbene urea derivatives, that manifest a slow‐binding inhibition profile (see graph).
