UV irradiation of [Mo(CO)(PMe3)2(SC6H4S(CH2)nSC6H4S)] (n = 1, 3) in the presence of PMe3 yields no [Mo(PMe3)3] complexes, but cleavage of the bridges for n = 1 leads to [MoII(CO)3(PMe3)2(S2C6H4)]
