    The present invention relates to a heavy duty laundry detergent composition for use at low temperature comprising or consisting of a first component comprising a non-ionic surfactant system comprising or consisting of (a) > 2 wt.-% of at least one non-ionic low alkoxylated alcohol surfactant containing 2 to 6 ethylene oxide groups and at least one linear primary alcohol containing 12 to 15 carbon atoms, (b) > 8 wt.-% of at least one non-ionic higher alkoxylated alcohol surfactant containing more than 6 ethylene oxide groups and at least one linear or branched primary alcohol containing 12 to 15 carbon atoms, calculated on the total weight of the detergent composition, and a second component comprising a bleaching system comprising or consisting of (c) < 8 wt.-% of percarbonate, and (d) > 3 wt.-% of tetraacetylethylenediamine (TAED), calculated on the total weight amount of the detergent composition, characterized in that the ratio of (c) to (d) is less than 2 : 1 and the total amount of the bleaching system is at least 10 wt.-% calculated on the total weight of the detergent composition.
