  Im Zuge von umfangreicheren Arbeiten über verschiedene Gebiete der Benzo[b]thiophen-Chemie wurden auch Additionsreaktionen von Basen an substituierte Benzo[b]thiophen-1,1-dioxide untersucht。Dabei wurde in den Titelverbindungen eine Substanzklasse mit starker Wirksamkeit als nicht-narkotische Analgetica und als Antiphlogistica zugänglich gemacht。
