  Verfahren zur Herstellung von Na-Salz der Diethylmetanilsäure (Wertprodukt) durch Reaktion von Methanilsäure, Ethylchlorid und Natronlauge und Abtrennung des bei der Reaktion entstehenden NaCl aus dem Reaktionsprodukt mittels eines Dekanters, wobei das vom kristallinen NaCl befreite Reaktionsprodukt in einem Phasentrenngefäß NaOH-50 %ig in einem solchen Verhältnis zugegeben wird, daß die Phasentrennung derart erfolgt, daß die organische Phase ca. 99,5 % des Wertprodukts und die wäßrige Phase ca. 0,5 % des Wertproduktes enthält.
