  A fibrous substrate, in particular a fibrous substrate comprising a microfine fiber-forming fiber is impregnated with a composite resin emulsion obtained by emulsion-polymerizing an ethylenically unsaturated monomer (B) in the presence of a polyurethane-based emulsion (A) at a weight ratio of the (A) / the (B) of 90/10 to 10/90, the emulsion having heat-sensible gelatinizing ability making it possible to supply a film having a specific elastic modulus.
