  Intramolecular acylation of γ-benzoyloxy phosphine oxides with LDA in the presence of Me3SiCl give silyl ethers with high steroselectivity: treatment of these silyl ethers with t-BuOK gives optically active di- and trisubstituted cyclopropyl ketones in good yield.
