GC-6506及其在棉花植物内的氧化衍生物生物半衰期不超过两天。存在少量的O-去甲基GC-6506-SO和-SO2以及O-去甲基GC-6506。将(32)P标记的GC-6506注射到雌性白化斯普拉格-道莱大鼠体内后,超过90%的剂量通过尿液排出,主要产物是二甲磷酸。在毛虫的初始阶段,大约等量的O-甲基和P-O-苯基连接发生断裂。O-去甲基化依赖于谷胱甘肽;P-O-苯基断裂与2种酶相关。对酚-SO2的研究表明,该物质转化为了未知的结合物。
