Spectral properties of bichromophoric pyrene probes with different linkage between pyrene units were compared in chloroform, cyclohexane and methanol, as well as in the polymer matrices polystyrene (PS), poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) and poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC).
