Abstract The title complexes were prepared and characterized spectroscopically and magnetically. In the complexes of the type Cu2L2+ (H2L= N,N′-disubstituted oxamide, sulfur donor atoms being contained in the substituents) the deprotonated oxamides bridge two copper(II) ions symmetrically and the complexes are all magnetically subnormal at room temperature.
