availability of the phosphorylated benzofulvene library is greatly facilitated by the current discovered method of regioselective C-3 phosphorylation of benzofulvene. Through the use of control experiments, the mechanism of the reaction may be elicited, revealing the reaction‘s radical route. Furthermore, late-stage diversification provides broadly substituted benzofulvene moieties.
