    A can carrier composition comprising at least one of each of the following components wherein all parts are by weight based on 100 parts by weight of component (i): (i) a high pressure polyethylene having a density in the range of about 0.918 to about 0.930 gram per cubic centimeter; (ii) a linear polyethylene having a density of less than about 0.925 gram per cubic centimeter in an amount of about 2 to about 35 parts; (iii) polyethylene wax in an amount of about 0.5 to about 5 parts; (iv) a mineral filler coated with a metal salt of a fatty acid in an amount of about 0.05 to about 0.50 parts; (v) a secondary amide in an amount of about 0.02 to about 0.15 part; (vi) an antioxidant in an amount of about 0.02 to about 0.10 part; and (vii) an organic phosphorus compound in an amount of about 0.005 to about 0.05 part.

    The present invention relates to a method and device for the treatment of polymer materials wherein the granulated technical plastic materials are introduced through an inlet (22) into a container (10) wherein a fluidizing bed (16) is generated by air flowing in upward direction. By a spraying means (28), an additive is sprayed in finely distributed form into the fluidizing bed (16) in such a manner that the additive deposits on the granular polymeric particles. Within the fluidizing bed (16), the polymeric granules pass from the inlet (22) to an outlet (26) to be discharged therethrough. The method is carried out in continuous operation and is particularly suited for the coating of polymeric materials which are to be processed by injection moulding.

    An object of the invention is to provide a propylene resin composition that can give shaped articles resistant to flaws such as scratches and glazed marks and having excellent mechanical characteristics. The invention achieves the object with a propylene resin composition obtained by blending 35 to 85 parts by weight of a propylene-ethylene random copolymer (A) having a melt flow rate (ASTM D1238, 230°C, 2.16 kg load) of 5 to 100 g/10 min and an ethylene content of 2 to 9 mol%; 5 to 25 parts by weight of an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer (B) obtained by copolymerizing ethylene with one or more olefins selected from α-olefins having 3 to 10 carbon atoms, and having a melt flow rate (ASTM D1238, 230°C, 2.16 kg load) of 0.1 to 80 g/10 min; 10 to 40 parts by weight of a fibrous filler (C) having an average fiber length of 0.1 to 2 mm and an average fiber diameter of 1 to 25 µm; 0.01 to 1.0 part by weight of a lubricant (D); and 0.1 to 3 parts by weight of a modified polypropylene (E) (the total of (A) to (C) is taken as 100 parts by weight).
