  Novel derivatives of Lcarnitine or of L-acylcarnitines or of esters thereof, obtained by salification with suitable acids or acidic aminoacids, monosalified with potassium ion. These derivatives show cardiotropic properties in the therapy of myocardial anoxia, of ischemia, of arrythmic syndromes, of cardiac failures in general and in cases of increased energy request due to fatigue at cardiac and muscular level.
