The first reported synthesis and spectroscopic characterization of a group 4 η1-phospholyl complex, (η1-dibenzophospholyl)tris(dimethylamido)titanium, are documented, which has an η1-phospholyl ligand analogous to those proposed in the slip−inversion−slip mechanism of phosphametallocene isomerization.
