  The reaction of C-aroyl-N-arylnitrilimines with 1,1-dimethylhydrazine or 1-methyl-1-phenylhydrazine led to the formation of the acyclic electrophilic addition products, which underwent thermal oxidative cyclization at CH3 to 1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-s-tetrazines.
