give a mixture of bis[(Z)-2,3-dichloroprop-1-en-1-yl]telluriumdichloride and regioisomeric [(Z)-1,3-dichloroprop-1-en-2-yl]- [(Z)-2,3-dichloroprop-1-en-1-yl]telluriumdichloride at a ratio of 3: 2, whereas the latter was formed as the sole product in the reaction with freshly prepared tellurium tetrachloride.
