Synthesis of Triphenylamine-Modified Arylates and Ketones via Suzuki Coupling Reactions
摘要:
[image omitted] A series of triphenylamine-mdified arylates and ketones were synthesized via Pd-catalyzed Suzuki coupling reaction of triphenylamine boronic acid with aryl bromide. The triphenylamine boronic acid was synthesized by iodization of 4-bromoaniline, Ullmann reaction of 1-bromo-4-iodobenzene with diphenylamine, and boronic acidification of 4-bromotriphenylamine.
Three newpalladium catalysts, prepared via reactions of PdCl2 with readily obtained and inexpensive dicationic imidazolium salts, have been developed for the Suzuki reaction. The pre-catalyst was formed in situ using the imidazolium ligand, base and Pd metal precursor in 1,4-dioxane. This palladium catalyst provides a convenient and general method for the synthesis of biaryls from aryl bromides, activated

A fast, convenient and ligand-free protocol for the synthesis of a series of 4-aryl-substituted triphenylamine derivatives by a palladium-catalysed aerobic Suzuki reaction of aryl halides with [4-(diphenylamino)phenyl]boronic acid in aqueous iPrOH is described. Importantly, both aryl bromides and heteroaryl halides afforded good to excellent yields under mild conditions.

(BF2) β-diketonate complexes, one asymmetrical 2 and the other symmetrical 3, were synthesized and fully characterized. The effects of the triphenylamine substituent on the photoluminescence, redox properties and photostability of these BF2 complexes were investigated. These new compounds exhibit long-wavelength absorption and strong intramolecular charge transfer emission and reversible oxidation and
