  合成了两个系列的端基环氧化合物PmOBC（m = 1，2，3，4）和PlOBEn（n = 6，8，10，12），以研究环氧化对介晶和热稳定性的影响。通过DFT计算获得的分子极化和构型可以提供理论观点。此外，通过DSC，TGA和1的组合评估热稳定性1 H NMR。与相应的烯基化合物相比，环氧化可降低分子偶极矩并增加分子空间效应，这不利于LC相的形成，但降低的分子内能可能有助于改善热稳定性。因此，这些末端环氧LC很有希望用于需要极高温环境的显示设备中。

  本发明的目的是提供一种通过环氧溴丙烷与对联苯酚类化合物在相转移催化剂下反应得到活性稀释剂联苯类缩水甘油醚的合成方法。其特征在于，按如下步骤进行：(1)将对联苯酚类化合物和碳酸钠按照摩尔比为1∶1.2加入到反应容器中，在65‑70℃下搅拌10小时，取上层液体进行第二步反应。(2)将一定量的上步产物和催化剂加入到反应烧瓶中，取环氧溴丙烷通过恒压滴液漏斗逐滴滴加到有搅拌的反应烧瓶中，在70‑80℃下搅拌4‑7小时，分离提纯，即得到产物。本发明所得到的产品在环氧活性稀释剂、含氯化合物稳定剂、织物整理剂等方面具有广泛的应用。此外，它还是合成很多工业产品：如抗静电剂、乳化剂、塑料添加剂、化妆品、表面活性剂等的重要中间体。
