  (EN) New cephem compounds of formula (I), wherein R1 is amino or protected amino, R2 is hydrogen, a hydroxy protective group, lower alkyl or mono(or di or tri)halo(lower)alkyl, R3 is carboxy or protected carboxy, and R4 is pyridylvinyl which may have suitable substituent(s), with proviso that (i) when R2 is hydrogen and R4 is 3-pyridylvinyl, then R3 is not carboxy, and (ii) when R2 is tetrahydropyranyl and R4 is 3-pyridylvinyl, then R3 is not benzhydryloxycarbonyl, and pharmaceutical acceptable salts thereof which are useful as a medicament.(FR) Nouveaux composés de céphème de formule (I) où R1 est amino ou amino-protégé, R2 est hydrogène, un groupe protecteur hydroxy, alkyle inférieur ou bien mono(ou di ou tri)halo alkyle(inférieur), R3 est carboxy ou carboxy-protégé, et R4 est pyridylvinyle pouvant comporter un ou des substituants appropriés, à condition que (i) lorsque R2 est hydrogène et R4 est 3-pyridylvinyle, R3 ne soit pas carboxy et que (ii) lorsque R2 est tétrahydropyranyle et R4 est 3-pyridylvinyle, R3 ne soit pas benzhydryloxycarbonyle, et leurs sels pharmaceutiquement acceptables, qui sont utiles comme médicament.
