    Electrically conductive and abrasion resistant polymeric compositions, methods of fabrication thereof and uses thereof are described. Admixtures of abrasion resistant materials and electrically conductive polymeric materials are formed. Many of these admixtures are light transmitting and can be used as an abrasion resistant light transmitting electrostatic discharge layer. The light transmitting discharge layer is useful as a surface coating for visual displays such as CRT screens to avoid electrostatic accumulation of dust and scratching. The compositions can be admixtures of abrasion resistant silicones, polysiloxanes, acrylates, epoxies, methacrylates, epoxyacrylates, epoxymethacrylates, styrenes, and electrically conductive polymers selected from the group of substituted and unsubstituted polyanilines, polyparaphenylenevinyles, substituted and unsubstituted polythiophenes substituted and unsubstituted poly-p-phenylene sulfides, substituted and unsubstituted polyfuranes, substituted and unsubstituted polypyrroles, substituted and unsubstituted polyselenophenes, polyacetylines formed from soluble precursors, combinations thereof and blends thereof with other polymers. The compositions can be a layer of an electrically conductive polymer with an abrasion resistant layer thereover.

    The present invention provides an adhesive composition for a touch sensor comprising: a photopolymerizable compound a titanocene-based compound as a photoinitiator; and a phosphoric acid-based compound or a phosphonic acid-based compound as a curing accelerator. The adhesive composition for a touch sensor according to the present invention can exhibit corrosion resistance to a touch sensor while directly attaching a touch sensor on a UV-impermeable substrate, and thereby it can be effectively used for attaching a touch sensor on various substrates.

    Provided herein is a touch sensor including: a substrate having a transmittance of 5% or less at a wavelength of 380 nm; a touch sensor layer configured to be opposite the substrate and having a thickness of 2 μm to 10 μm; and an adhesive layer disposed between the substrate and the touch sensor layer, wherein the adhesive layer includes a cured product of an adhesive composition including at least one selected from the group consisting of an initiator and a sensitizer having an absorption wavelength in the range of 380 nm to 450 nm and has an adhesion strength of 5 N/25 trim or more. There is an advantageous effect in that the provided film-type touch sensor represents excellent adhesion and folding characteristics even when the substrate has a relative low transmittance.

    Disclosed is an adhesive composition for optical use and, more particularly, an adhesive composition which includes; 30 to 80 wt. % of a mono-functional urethane acrylate oligomer having a weight average molecular weight of 10,000 and 35,000, 10 to 60 wt. % of an acrylate monomer; and 0.1 to 10 wt. % of a free radical photo-initiator, so as to retain physical properties of the adhesive composition such as coating property and adhesiveness and, in addition, reduce incurring of setting shrinkage during photo-polymerization, thereby exhibiting a uniform thickness and excellent surface appearance, durability such as heat resistance and moist heat resistance, and storage elasticity. Moreover, the inventive composition does not contain an alternative solvent, thus enabling manufacturing of a thick film type adhesive film.
