  which results from head-to-tail coupling of two imidoyl groups and reduction of the internal C=N bond. This compound has been characterized by X-ray crystallography. With Mn2(CO)10 the diazabutadiene complex [(C6H5)N=C(C6H5)C(C6H5)=N(C6H5)]Mn2(CO)6 was isolated.
