  The design and synthesis of an agarose resin functionalized with a Gram-negative quorum sensing (QS) signaling molecule analogue is described. The modified resin was utilized in affinity pull-down assays to successfully isolate QscR, a LuxR-type QS receptor from Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
