  The reactions of (C5H5)Fe(Co)(2)SCO(C6H4)COCl with thiols (RSH), carboxylic acids (RCOOH), secondary amines (R2NH) and phenols in the presence of pyridine afforded the bifunctional complexes (C5H4)Fe(CO)(2)SCO(C6H4)COX(X = RS, RCOO, R2N, ArO) in fairly good yields. The synthesized complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, IR and H-1 NMR spectra. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
