A novel europium complex [Eu2(C9N2O4H11)3(OH)2]Br ⋅ H2O derived from 1,3-bis (1-carboxylatoethyl)imidazolium bromide ([H2bcei]Br, C9N2O4H11=bcei2−) was synthesized by solvothermal method.
