Eight-figured chirality: A novel [36]octaphyrin analogue embedding two N-confused pyrrole units demonstrates unique prototropy-coupled isomerization. Upon bis-metal complexation, fully π-conjugated, helical Figure-of-eight structures are realized. Distinct CD response in the NIR region confirms chirogenesis of the helical enantiomers.
