In the title compound, [Cu(C11P11NO3)(C5H8N2)(2)], the Cu-11 atom adopts a square-pyramidal coordination, with a tridentate 2,2-dimethyl-N-salicylideneglycinate Schiff base dianion and a 3,5-dimethylpyrazole ligand bound in the basal plane. The apex of the elongated pyramid is occupied by a second 3,5-dimethylpyrazole molecule, with a Cu-N distance of 2.461 (2) Angstrom. All molecules are arranged in a single magnetic orientation.
