  Terminal alkynes with secondary amines (dimethylamine, diethylamine, piperidine, morpholine) and CO2 in the presence of mononuclear ruthenium catalysts, afford the vinyl carbamates R1CHCHOCONR2. The reaction studies suggest, as the active catalytic species, a ruthenium-vinylidene intermediate.
