  The unsymmetric compartmental proligands HL2, HL5 and HL6 bearing adjacent {N2O}, {N,S,O} donor sets and {N2O}, {N,O} donor sets have given the dinuclear copper (II) complexes [Cu-2(L-2) (OMe)(NCS)(2)], 1, [Cu-2(L-5)(OMe)(NCS)(2)], 2, and [Cu-2(L-6)(OMe)(NCS)(2)], 3.
