(EN) A process for synthesizing prostaglandin E1, E2 and derivatives thereof is provided. The process is a 'one-pot' method in which 2-furyllithium, copper cyanide, a lower alkyllithium reagent and either an (E)-alkenylstannane or a halogenide are combined with cyclopentenone (II), in which A, R6 and R7 are as defined herein. The reaction gives rise to the desired prostaglandin product in yields of 80 % or higher.(FR) Cette invention concerne un procédé permettant la synthèse des prostaglandines E1 et E2 et de dérivés de celles-ci. New cumylphenol derivatives are described which are useful as reactive diluents. plasticizers and impact modifiers for polymeric materials. The derivatives include alkenyl esters of monocarboxylic acids, esters of polycarboxylic acids, and the esters of boric acid, and alkenyl and aralkyl esters. The borate ester of cumylphenol is particularly useful as impact modifiers with flame retardant properties.

(A) a non-Newtonian colloidal disperse system characterized by a neutralization base number of about 3 or less, said system comprising
(1) solid metal containing colloidal particles predispersed in
(2) a liquid dispersing medium, and
(3) as a third component, at least one organic compound which is soluble in said dispersing medium, the molecules of said organic compound being characterized by a hydrophobic portion and at least one polar substituent; and
(B) at least one cross-linkable material other than an isocyanate; and, optionally
