    The invention provides a pigment dispersion composition including an azo pigment represented by formula (1), in which the azo pigment represented by formula (1) does not have an ionic hydrophilic group, an azo pigment derivative and a dispersant. In formula (1), G represents a hydrogen atom, an aliphatic group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; R 1 represents an amino group, an aliphatic oxy group, an aliphatic group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; R 2 represents a substituent; A represents a heterocyclic group; m represents an integer of 0 to 5; and n represents an integer of 1 to 4, wherein: when n=2, the azo pigment is a dimer formed via R 1 , R 2 , A or G; when n=3, the azo pigment is a a trimer formed via R 1 , R 2 , A or G; and when n=4, the azo pigment is a tetramer formed via R 1 , R 2 , A or G.

    There is provided a composition, wherein when a film is formed to have a film thickness of 1 μm, light transmittance in a thickness direction of the film has a maximum value of 20% or less at a wavelength in a range of 400 to 750 nm, and light transmittance in a thickness direction of the film has a minimum value of 90% or more at a wavelength in a range of 900 to 1,300 nm, and an infrared transmission filter formed with the composition, a method for manufacturing an infrared transmission filter, and an infrared sensor comprising the infrared transmission filter.

    The invention provides a photo-curable composition having at least: (A) a binder polymer; (B) a multifunctional photo-curable compound having at least one selected from the group consisting of acidic functional groups and alkyleneoxy chains; (C) an oxime photopolymerization initiator; and (D) a pigment. The acidic functional group is preferably a carboxyl group. The (B) multifunctional photo-curable compound preferably has at least one selected from the group consisting of a pentaerythritol compound and a dipentaerythritol compound. The invention further provides a color filter formed using the photo-curable composition, and a solid state imager having at least the color filter.
