  杂环族3-selena-7-氮杂双环[3.3.1]壬烷的几个成员已通过IR，1H，13C，15N和77Se NMR光谱合成，并在某些情况下通过X射线衍射分析进行了表征。检查了选定成员，即胺的氢高氯酸盐，在麻醉狗中的抗心律失常特性，其中通过前述技术诱发了心肌梗塞。在前药或对照状态下，心室起搏以高于300 / min的速度诱发持续性室性心动过速。当以3和6 mg / kg的剂量施用7-苄基-3-selena-7-氮杂双环[3.3.1]壬烷高氯酸盐时，就不再能诱导持续性室性心动过速。相似剂量的利多卡因（一种常用的抗心律不齐药物）引起低于300 / min的持续性室性心动过速减慢，但并未消除其诱导性。另外，氢过氯酸盐的精选成员导致平均血压适度增加10-20％，而利多卡因则导致平均血压无变化或略有下降。关于该杂环族的活性似乎必需的结构要求，已经勾勒出一些一般性结论，而以前没有报道过。
