  (EN) A process for the preparation of 4-bromo-1,1-difluorobut-1-ene comprising the step of reacting 2,4-dibromo-1,1,1-trifluorobutane with a defluorobrominating agent in a liquid reaction mass and recovering the desired product therefrom. The product is useful as an intermediate for pesticidal compounds.(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de production de 4-bromo-1,1-difluorobut-1-ene, qui consiste à faire réagir du 2,4-dibromo-1,1,1-trifluorobutane avec un agent de défluorobromation dans une masse de réaction liquide dont on extrait ensuite le produit désiré. Le produit ainsi obtenu est utile comme intermédiaire pour la production de composés pesticides.
