AbstractAn efficient copper‐catalyzed tandem aerobic oxidative annulation and carbon‐carbon bond cleavage reaction was developed from easily accessible arylacetamides, which provides a direct approach for the domino synthesis of a vast array of tricyclic or tetracyclic fused quinazolinone alkaloid structures.
