  A silver(I)-olefin complex based on achiral exo-7-oxabicyclo-[2.2.1]-5-heptene-2,3-dicarboxylic acid (H2L) shows a 3-connected layer with (4.8(2))-fes topology, in which unsymmetrical coordinated HL possesses chiral centers.
