  [EN] Stable, novel and highly effective peroxyhydrates of condensed phosphates, in particular tetrasodium pyrophosphate tris hydroxyhydrates are provided. Said peroxyhydrates may be further stabilised by treatment thereof with an acidic gas or vapour and/or by encapsulation of granules containing the peroxyhydrate with suitable encapsulants including film forming polymers and oils. Additionally, a pH modifier, such as an acid buffer or acid releasing agent may be added to said granules to protect them from excessively alkaline environments as found in most washing powders. The peroxyhydrates provided, are effective oxidising bleaches finding particular application in detergent formulations. Detergent compositions, especially laundry detergent and dishwashing powder compositions containing the peroxyhydrate, are also provided.
  [FR] Nouveaux peroxyhydrates stables et très efficaces de phosphates condensés et notamment tris-hydroxyhydrates de pyrophosphate tétrasodique. On peut stabiliser davantage lesdits peroxyhydrates en les traitant avec une vapeur ou un gaz acide, et/ou en encapsulant des granulés renfermant ce peroxyhydrate à l'aide d'agents d'encapsulation appropriés comprenant des huiles et des polymères filmogènes. En outre, on peut ajouter à ces granulés un agent modificateur de pH tel qu'un tampon acide ou un agent libérant un acide, afin de les protéger contre les milieux trop alcalins tels que la plupart des poudres de lavage. Ces peroxyhydrates sont des agents de blanchiment oxydants efficaces et trouvent application notamment dans les formulations détersives.
