This paper describes the molecular electrical conducting properties of a complex salt, [Me4N](2)[Zn(ecda)(2)], and four heterobimetallics, M[Zn(ecda)(2)] (M = Mn(II), Ag(I), Hg(II), or Pb(II); ecda (2-) = 1-ethoxycarbonyl-1-cyanoethylene-2,2dithiolate), that have been investigated using molecular spectroscopic (IR, NMR, UV-Visible, EPR) and conductivity techniques. All of the compounds exhibit compressed pellet room temperature conductivity in the 10(-12) - 10(-7) S cm(-1) range and they show semiconductivity over the range 292 to 393 K.
