    Enhancing the solubility for hypervalent ortho-sulfonyl iodine compounds
    摘要:
    The synthesis and characterization of new hypervalent iodine reagents ArINTs (2a), ArIO (3a), and ArIO(2) (4a) (Ar=2-tert-butylsulfonyl-5-tert-butylphenyl) are described. These reagents are compared to previously reported analogous set of reagents Ar=2-tert-butylsulfonylphenyl and found to have significantly enhanced solubility and similar chemical reactivity. The X-ray crystal structures of 4a and of ArI (1a) (Ar=2-tert-butylsulfonyl-5-tert-butylphenyl) are discussed and compared. These reagents find use in atom and group transfer reactions.     Provided is a thermoplastic polyester resin composition comprising 100 parts by weight of (A) a non-liquid crystal thermoplastic polyester resin, 45 to 150 parts by weight of (B) a thermoplastic resin that is different from the non-liquid crystal thermoplastic polyester resin and has a dielectric loss tangent of not more than 0.005 when measured at a frequency of 5.8 GHz by the cavity resonance perturbation method, 2 to 20 parts by weight of (C) a compatibilizer having at least one reactive functional group selected from epoxy, acid anhydride, oxazoline, isocyanate, and carbodiimide groups, and 0.2 to 5 parts by weight of (D) at least one compound selected from tertiary amines, amidine compounds, organic phosphines and salts thereof, imidazoles, and boron compounds, wherein the ratio of the sum of the thermoplastic resin (B) and the compatibilizer (C) is in the range of 50 to 150 parts by weight and the weight ratio (B)/(C) of the thermoplastic resin (B) to the compatibilizer (C) is in the range of 8 to 50. The thermoplastic polyester resin composition can be molded into an article with low dielectric properties, excellent mechanical properties, and high bondability to metals.

    A molding material is provided including a composite having 1 to 50 wt % of (A) a bundle of continuous reinforcing fibers and 0.1 to 40 wt % of (B) a polyarylene sulfide prepolymer or (B′) a polyarylene sulfide; and 10 to 98.9 wt % of (C) a thermoplastic resin adhered to the composite; wherein the composite further has (D) a zero-valent transition metal compound or (E) a low-valent iron compound in an amount of 0.001 to 20 mol % based on the amount of sulfur atoms contained in the component (B) or (B′). A prepreg and a method of producing a fiber-reinforced molding base material is also provided. By using the molding material according to the present invention which exhibits excellent economic efficiency and productivity, a molded article having excellent mechanical characteristics can be easily produced.
