Three-component reactions of aldehydes, amines and allyltributylstannane in the presence of a catalytic amount of (bromodimethyl)sulfoniumbromide have been accomplished in short reaction times to afford the corresponding homoallylic amines in excellent yields.
The allylation of aldehydes and imines has efficiently been carried out by treatment with allyltributylstarmane in the presence of a catalytic amount of 2,4,6-trichloro-1,3,5-triazine at room temperature to form the corresponding homoallylic alcohols and amines, respectively, in high yields. Zirconyl Chloride (= Dichlorooxozirconium) as an Efficient Catalyst for One-Pot Multicomponent Synthesis of Homoallylic Amines
Zirconyl chloride (ZrOCl2) catalyzes efficiently the one-pot threecomponentreactions of aldehydes, amines, and allyltributylstannane at room temperature to furnish the corresponding homoallylicamines in short reaction times and in excellent yields.
