    A composition and a method of using the same wherein said composition comprises a rodenticide and an additive selected from the group consisting of 1. polyoxyalkylated alkyl phenols; 2. sorbitan fatty acids and polyoxyalkylated derivatives thereof; 3. polyoxyalkylated fatty amines; 4. polyoxyalkylated branched or linear alcohols, diols or polyols; 5. polyoxyalkylated branched or linear mercaptans; 6. polyoxyalkylated esters; and 7. polyoxyalkylated amines. The composition may optionally include an organic solvent and/or a dye. The rodenticide may be selected from a wide host of compounds, including brodifacoum, bromadiolone, diphacinone, chlorodiphacinone, mono­fluoroacetatic acid, bromethalin, calciferol, floco­umafen, and salts of such compounds.

    The present invention is directed to a polyisocyanate mixture having an NCO content of 10 to 47% by weight and a viscosity of less than 10,000 mPa.s and containing isocyanurate and allophanate groups in a molar ratio of monoisocyanurates to monoallophanates of 10:1 to 1:5, wherein the allophanate groups are formed from urethane groups which are based on the reaction product of an organic diisocyanate having (cyclo)aliphatic bound isocyanate groups and a monoalcohol containing at least 10 carbon atoms and having a molecular weight of 158 to 2500. The present invention is also directed to a process for the production of a polyisocyanate mixture having an NCO content of 10 to 47% by weight, having a viscosity of less than 10,000 mPa.s and containing isocyanurate and allophanate groups in a molar ratio of monoisocyanurates to monoallophanates of 10:1 to 1:5 by a) catalytically trimerizing a portion of the isocyanate groups of an organic diisocyanate having (cyclo)aliphatically bound isocyanate groups b) adding 0.01 to 0.5 moles, per mole of organic diisocyanate, of a monoalcohol containing at least 10 carbon atoms and having a molecular weight of 158 to 2500 to the organic diisocyanate prior to or during the trimerization reaction of step a) and c) terminating the trimerization reaction at the desired degree of trimerization by adding a catalyst poison and/or by thermally deactivating the catalyst. Finally, the present invention is directed to the use of these polyisocyanate mixtures, optionally in blocked form, as an isocyanate component in the two-component coating compositions.

    The present Application is directed to coating compositions which have long pot lives, may be rapidly cured under ambient conditions to provide coatings with improved optical properties and contain as binder a) a polyisocyanate component containing i) 5 to 100 % by weight of a monoallophanate and ii) 0 to 95% by weight of another polyisocyanate adduct, and b) an aldimine based on the reaction product of a polyamine having 2 or more primary amino groups with an aldehyde corresponding to the formula:         O=CHCH(R₁)(R₂) wherein R₁ and R₂ may be the same or different and represent optionally substituted hydrocarbon radicals, or R₁ and R₂ together with the β-carbon atom form a cycloaliphatic or heterocyclic ring and c) optionally up to 5 weight percent, based on the weight of components a) and b), of a tin(IV) compound which is a catalyst for the reaction between isocyanate groups and hydroxyl groups, wherein components a) and b) are present in an amount sufficient to provide an equivalent ratio of isocyanate groups to aldimine groups of 0.5:1 to 20:1. Also claimed is the aldimine prepared from diamino dicyclohexyl methane and an aldehyde corresponding to the preceding formula.
