Crystal structures of copper(III) dithiocarbamate complexes [Cu(η2-S2CNMe2)2][ClO4] and [Cu(η2-S2CNEt2)2][FeCl4] with and without anion–cation interactions
摘要:
Copper(III) dithiocarbamate complexes [Cu(eta(2)-S2CNMe2)(2)][ClO4] and [Cu(eta(2)-S2CNEt2)(2)][FeCl4] have been characterised crystallographically. Both contain square-planar Cu(III) centres which attain an overall distorted octahedral coordination environment via long-range intermolecular interactions. In [Cu(eta(2)-S2CNEt2)(2)][FeCl4]. anions and cations do not interact and Cu(III) centres form an infinite chain held together by weak copper-sulfur interactions. In [Cu(eta(2)-S2CNMe2)(2)][ClO4], perchlorate anions interact weakly with the Cu(III) centre [Cu-O 2.753(3) Angstrom] which attains overall six coordination via a Cu-S interaction with a second copper-dithiocarbamate-perchlorate unit.
