    A lubricating oil composition comprises (A) a base oil, (B) a 3-methyl-5-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl substituted fatty acid ester in an amount of 0.1 - 5 percent by mass and (C) an auxiliary component, said auxiliary component being one member of the group of (a) a nitrogen-containing compound in an amount of 0.001 - 1 percent by mass, (b) a sulfur and/or phosphorus-containing compound in an amount of 0.1 - 5.0 percent by mass or (c) a phenolic compound in an amount of 0.1 - 5.0 percent by mass. This composition features the combination with a base oil of these specified components whereby there is provided synergistic effect conducive to inhibition or prevention of both oxidation and sludge formation while in use under elevated temperature conditions over extended periods of time.

    The present invention is directed to provide a methacyrlic resin composition which can suppress appearance of a silver streak(s) and can be molded at a thickness not larger than 1 mm with a good molding property (mold filling property) and a good mold releasing property. A methacrylic resin composition of the present invention is used for preparing a light guide plate having a thickness not large than 1 mm, and comprises a copolymer polymerized from monomeric components comprising methyl methacrylate and acrylic acid ester wherein a content ratio of methyl methacrylate is at least 60% by weight and a content ratio of acrylic acid ester is at most 12 % by weight, and has a reduced viscosity of 0.47-0.55 dL/g at 25°C measured as a solution at a concentration of 0.5 g/50 mL in chloroform, and MFR of at least 18 g/10 min at 230° measured under a load of 37.3 N.

    The present invention is directed to provide a methacrylic resin composition for a vehicle member, which composition shows high flowability on molding, has good mechanical strength and heat resistance, and is superior in chemical resistance. A methacrylic resin composition for a vehicle member is characterized by (I) comprising a copolymer polymerized from monomeric components comprising methyl methacrylate and acrylic acid ester wherein a content ratio of methyl methacrylate is at least 97% by weight, (II) showing a reduced viscosity of 55 to 65 cm3/g at 25°C measured in a form of a chloroform solution at a concentration of 0.01 g/cm3, (III) showing a melt flow rate (MFR) of at least 3 g/10 min at 230°C measured under a load of 37.3 N, and (IV) showing a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) of 2.2 to 3.8 calculated from a weight average molecular weight (MW) and a number average molecular weight (Mn) both measured by gel permeation chromatography (GPC).
