    摘要:
    The synthesis and crystal structure of the first trimetallic iodo-gold-silver-platinum cluster, [(Ph3P)(6)Au6Ag6Pt(AgI3)(2)](THF)(2), with a centered icosahedral metal core and two planar AgI3 capping units are described. The cluster core serves as the basic building block for a new series of trimetallic (Au-Ag-Pt) polyicosahedral clusters with iodo ligands. In the crystal, the clusters form a clathrate structural network capable of stabilizing weakly hydrogen-bonded (THF)(2) dimers. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.

    Reactions of Ag4X4(Ph3P)(4) (X = Br, I) with 1,3-bis(diphenylphosphine)methane (dppm) ligand under microwave heating conditions afforded two asymmetric silver(I) dimers of the type [Ag-2(mu-X)(2)(mu-dppm)(PPh3)(2)], X = Br(1), I(2), with butterfly-shaped dinuclear cores. The molecular structures of two compounds have been established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and satisfactorily calculated by using the PW91 functional considered with the DNP basis set and ECP.
