  摘要：

  An improved preparation of the fluoroquinolone antibacterial intermediate 2,4,5-trifluorobenzoic acid is described. A combination of a selective hydrodefluorination and hydrolysis reaction of 3,4,5,6-tetrafluoro-N-methylphthalimide leading to 3,5,6-trifluorophthalic acid was key to the success of the profess. In addition the development of a two-step, one-pot imidization/halogen exchange from tetrachlorophthalic anhydride to 3,4,5,6-tetrafluoro-N-methylphthalimide in sulfolane solvent is detailed.

  (EN) 3,4,6-trifluorophthalic acid is prepared in high yield by reaction of a 3,4,6-trichloro-N-substituted phthalimide with potassium fluoride at temperatures in the range of 200° to 270 °C in the absence of a catalyst to form the corresponding trifluoro-N-substituted phthalimide which, in turn, is hydrolyzed to form the 3,4,6-trifluorophthalic acid.(FR) On prépare de l'acide 3,4,6-trifluorophthalique à rendement élevé par réaction d'un phthalimide à substitution 3,5,6-trichloro-N avec du fluorure de potassium à des températures comprises dans la plage située entre 200° et 270 °C en l'absence d'un catalyseur, afin de former le phthalimide à substitution trifluoro-N correspondant lequel, à son tour est hydrolysé afin de former l'acide 3,4,6-trifluorophthalique.
