  A nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds are representable by the formula: wherein R1 is either one of the following groups: (in which R4 is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a methyl group and l'is an integer of 1 or 2); R2 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; R3 is an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, an alkenyl group or an alkenyloxy group, all of which may have optionally one or more substituents; A is either one of the following groups: (in which R5, R6, R7, R8 and R9 are, the same or different, each a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R10 is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a lower alkyl group and m is an integer of 1 to 4); and X is an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom, which is useful as an insecticidal agent.
