Mobility of the acetone moleculecoordinated to platinum in complexes of the type trans-[PtCl2Pysubst(acetone)] has been unambiguously established for the firsttime through 1H and 13C NMR variable temperature measurements. Such mobility may be explained either by a rocking and rotation movement of acetone around the oxygen-platinum bond, or by rotation of methyl groups around the oxygen-carbon bond
