A process for the production of polyether monocarbamates, useful in hydrocarbon fuels as deposit control additives, from polyether chloroformates and polyalkylene polyamines which provides for the efficient separation of the reaction product mixture into a hydrocarbon phase containing the monocarbamate product and an aqueous phase containing undesirable polyamine hydrochloride by-product utilizes an excess of the polyalkylene polyamine reactant containing a limited amount of water. The process is particularly advantageous for the continuous production of monocarbamate.
An ink composition for an ink jet recording is provided which has excellent various properties, particularly can realize printing with less bleeding. The ink composition comprises a dye, propylene glycol mono-n-butyl ether (PGmBE) and/or dipropylene glycol mono-n-butyl ether (DPGmBE) and a water-soluble glycol ether other than PGmBE and DPGmBE, the total amount of PGmBE and DPGmBE being 3 to 30% by weight based on the ink composition.
